HIGH CARE AND LOW CARE PLACEMENTS

High Care placement is provided in a forty one bed nursing home.

Low Care placement is provided in a twenty seven bed hostel facility.

Prior to any consideration for placement being made the following documentation needs to be obtained and completed:-

DAY THERAPY

Murroona Gardens provides an extensive Day Therapy Program five days a week. Activities include exercise programs, celebrations of special occasions, outings , visitations, morning melody programs, visiting artists, bar b ques and water aerobics to name but a few.

A bus is available to provide transport to those Clients who do not have their own transport. Cost is $15-00 per week which covers morning teas. Lunches are available for a nominal cost of $6-00.

ROTARY VILLAGE

Murroona Gardens currently have seventy one independent living units with another six currently under construction. These comprise both pre-paid and rental. Prepaid accommodation is available on the basis of $60,000 for six years or $100,000 for ten years. Rental Accommodation is available for $280 per fortnight. Rental assistance may be offset against this charge. As demand is quite high, applications are usually subject to a waiting list.
